Dei tre makter å smelte saman tradisjonelt og moderne til ein musikalsk heilskap av keltisk musikk.
Som trio, eller som sekstett med Noel og Pádraig Duggan frå Clannad og Riverdance-felespielar Máire Breatnach, har gruppa halde konsertar rundt om i heile Europa, Canada og USA.

Klangbiletet hos Norland Wind er konsentrert om magien i den keltiske harpa. Mange av komposisjonane er inspirerte av landskapet og musikken i Donegal, det keltiske området nordvest i Irland. Ugløymande harpemusikk, komponert av Thomas Loefke eller Ian Melrose, leiande gitarist i gruppa Clannad, vekslar med gæliske og anglo-irske songar, komponerte av vokalist og gitarist Kerstin Blodig.
Thomas’ lyriske harpe, Kerstins klåre, uttrykksfulle røyst og Ians vare gitar, gjev ein stemningsfull, sterk og kjenslevar klang.
